We are proud to introduce the Stallion APV™ Power Regulated Personal Vaporizer. This device is brand new from Texas Select Vapor and will actually be the first tube based APV featuring the same technology used in the power regulated devices from Evolv™. Housed in a rugged T6061 Aluminum outer shell, the Stallion APV™ is certain to make any vaper happy with it's looks and power capabilities.These devices are assembled by hand at our facility right here in the US. Each device is tested thoroughly to ensure long life and a pleasurable vaping experience!

You may like to know a little bit about power regulation in whole and how it differs from a variable voltage device:

For starters, variable voltage devices are based on a setting of voltage that is input from the user to control the functionality of the attached heating element. When using variable voltage, you set your voltage based on the resistance load of the atomizer or cartomizer to better help you dial in your perfect vape. When switching between various atomizers or cartomizers this constant adjustment can be rather tedious. If your device is ultra powerful, you could easily destroy an atomizer in the process if you forget to turn down your voltage setting before switching to the new atomizer because 6 volts on a 3.0Ω cartomizer is very different from 6 volts on a 2.0Ω and the heat differences between the two at the same 6 volts is tremendous. This is why power regulation is so much better! With power regulation, you set your wattage level and the device determines what voltage to put out in order to maintain constant power. For example, if you placed a 2.0Ω atomizer on your Stallion APV™ at a wattage setting of 8.5, your output voltage would be 4.12 volts at around 2 amps. If you were to leave your device set to 8.5 watts and replaced your 2.0Ω with a 3.0Ω atomizer, your device would now put out 5.05 volts at around 1.68 amps.

What does this mean for you?:

This means that you will now have the luxury of placing multiple atomizers at ranging resistance levels on your device and the device will accomidate for the changes in load to output a consistant heat level. You will get consistancy out of your device that is rarely found in many of the devices available on the market today. Another nice feature of power regulation is the fact that once your atomizer coild becomes hot, the actual resistance level will drop and with variable voltage devices this would lead to pushing the atomizer harder and harder until it causes the atomizer to actually overheat and blow the coil. With power regulation, it constantly maintains the power from the time the button is pressed until the time it is released. This means that your atomizer will reach the temperature it should at the wattage setting and that the heat will not rise above that point. The Stallion APV™ constantly adjusts for the power output while vaping to ensure a very consistant and powerful vape everytime!
